All Diploma learners are required to enroll on the 'Personal Trainer Certificate'.  This then allows you to upgrade to one of the fitness industries specialised areas and achieve a Diploma in either:

• Corrective Exercise Referral Specialist
• Performance Enhancement Specialist
• Group Exercise Specialist
• Assessing Competency
• NASM Master Trainer

All Diploma packages are made up of niche modular courses that help learners develop the skills to work with specialised areas of this rewarding sector.  A CMS representative will provide you with guidance on the recommended timescales and order of learning.

• Level 2 Fitness Instructor Certificate (Gym/ETM)
• Level 3 Personal Trainer Certificate
• Level 3 Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity

• Level 3 Certificate in Exercise Referral

Including either:

• Level 4 Certificate in Exercise and Nutritional interventions for Obesity and Diabetes

or

• Level 4 Certificate in Exercise for the Management of Lower Back Pain.

• NASM Performance Exercise Specialist (PES)
• Level 3 Award in Sports Conditioning

• Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuits
• Level 2 Award in Instructing Studio Cycling
• Level 3 Award in Instructing Outdoor Fitness

• NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

And pick at least one of:

• NASM Performance Exercise Specialist (PES)
• NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES)

• Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS)
• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (A1)
