Obesity and Diabetes are an ever growing concern in today’s society with such conditions putting increasing pressure on an individual’s active daily lifestyle and public services.

The Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients is for experienced instructors wishing to further their career in the health and fitness sector as a specialist instructor who can address the needs of patients/clients with obesity and diabetes.
The Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients will enable Personal Trainers to prescribe, plan, conduct and review programmes to address the needs of patients/clients as well as implement a corrective diet to aid in the management of obesity and diabetes.
The Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients is recognised at Level 4 by the Register of Exercise Professionals.
How Do I Start?

Can you please attend wearing appropriate leisure clothing as the workshops will include physical activity and we cannot guarantee access to changing rooms and showers. In addition, you are expected to provide your own refreshments. For the respect of other users of our venues, please bring a gym towel.
Throughout the workshop days, our experienced tutors will support you to ensure your full participation and give guidance on what work needs to be completed and by when, to ensure that you can successfully complete the workshop.

All learners on the Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients are supported with:

Learners wishing to study towards the Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients must hold or be working towards with CMS the Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Exercise Referral or equivalent.
Learners must be aged 16 years old and above.

If you are attending the 2 day workshop your tutor/assessor will provide guidance during the workshop days on what work needs to be completed and by when.
Please note, this qualification is also available via distance learning (no workshop attendance). You will be supported by our tutors via phone, email and webinar.
